Join local foraging tutor Rob Gould for an autumnal guided walk.
Learn about the edible and herbal uses of the wild – and some of the cultivated – plants in the Garden. And the importance of location on flavour, about the benefits of eating wild ingredients, and about the ethics and legalities of foraging.
This will be an informal conversational walk over a couple of hours, and you will cover what is growing in the Garden, along with plenty of ways of making use of it.
If there is anything else in particular you wish to learn about in the session, feel free to ask, whether it’s about sloe gin, beating the squirrels to the hazelnuts or safely foraging for mushrooms.
The walk will be followed by a hot drink and cake at the cafe, and you will have the chance to ask any more questions to Rob.
