Herb Walk

A chance to share observations on our local plants this season.

For our October first-Saturday-of-the-month herb walk, we’ll will meet by Cam&Dursley police station at 10am. From here we’ll walk down through Holywell Orchard and along Littlecombe to Long Street where we can join the Apple Pressing in the Chantry Centre garden.

Wear footwear suitable for muddy ground. We’ll be walking for about 30 minutes (mostly down hill) over the course of an hour, stopping to look at and chat about plants along the way.

Please note, because we plan to finish at the Apple Pressing, this is not a circular walk. You will need to make your own way back from the centre of Dursley.

If you’d like to press your own apples, or take some juice home, please bring a container (eg, an old clean milk bottle). You’re welcome to drop these at the Chantry Centre before coming to join the walk, just pop a label on them so we know who’s is whose.
