Severn Bore – 2 Star

📍 9:35am – Minsterworth – Located 4 miles from Gloucester along the A48, this is one of the best places to experience the bore.

📍 9:50am – Stonebench – 3 miles from Gloucester along the B4008. Turn right into Elmore Lane, cross the ship canal, and the River Severn is ahead.

• Be aware that this area can become congested, and after the bore passes, the rising river level may flood onto the road. Take caution.

📍 10:10am – Over Bridge – Just 1 mile out of Gloucester along the A40, this spot provides a convenient viewing location to watch the bore’s final approach before it fades due to the weirs near the city.
